I vividly remember the feeling of my first week of kindergarten when I was five years old - sheer bliss.  The teachers and students alike were all so kind, joyful, and welcoming.  As a student at Diegueño, I truly felt that I was part of a big Diegueño family.  I knew the teachers there really cared about me.   Diegueño definitely set me up for academic success.

With it's inspiring teachers, nurturing environment, and academic excellence, Diegueño has set the groundwork for my future. As I begin college this fall my Diegueño memories will continue to inspire me and be ever present.
